K-9 Tactical Demonstration Held June 27

Petland Overland Park hosted the first annual NPCA fundraiser for Officer Callahan and his partner, “Max” of the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department on June 27. The family event included seek and find missions and attack strategies. Donations made at the event were matched by Petland owners Janice, Thomas and Aaron Roffman in order to raise the $2,000 necessary to send “Max” and Officer Callahan to the National Police Canine Association in Newcastle, Delaware for advanced training and recertification.
